Introduction to arts education in St Petersburg in general

* Elena Kolovskaya, Tatiana Bykovskaya on Proarte
* Ivan Gavarkov on the Academy of Fine Arts named after Repin


10:45- 11:30—Open discussion in response to presentations—What are other resources for art education in the city? What else happens in this city in terms of training for artists? How could the situation be improved? What is the future for these programs?

Day 3, Wednesday, June 17th Combining Art Criticism and Curatorial Studies in St Petersburg

11:00-12:30 --How are curators trained in Russia and St Petersburg?
11:00- 12:00--Presentation by Ekaterina Andreeva, on the Role of Museums on Art Education and training for Curators in general in St Petersburg.
12:00- 12:30--Presentation by Norton Batkin on the Center for Curatorial Studies and Curatorial Studies in the USA in general.
